Sandwich meats are slow roasted, braised and poached; Mozzarella is hand pulled; and ‘wichcraft bakes pastries and spins ice creams each morning to ensure freshness and quality. Whenever possible they work with small producers, use greenmarket vegetables and serve sustainably raised meat. And when there’s a great local artisanal item that just can’t be improved upon it very likely may end up on the menu. Even the beverages come from companies that share a commitment to quality, including coffee from La Colombe, soda from Boylan Bottling Company and teas from In Pursuit of Tea.
Gourmet has never been this easy and has never tasted better than it does at ‘wichcraft!

Two stars because the sandwich was especially good. I had the goat cheese sandwich, which was fresh tasting and flavorful. The tomato soup could have used more pep. The butternut squash couscous was DISGUSTING. Everything was a brown sickly color. The pecans had turned gray and looked like little brains and the brussel sprouts had turned a brown/red color that was very unappetizing. I was going to throw it away straight out, but unfortunately the tiny tiny portions of the soup and sandwich had left me ravenous. Luckily it only took one bite to make me lose what remained of my appetite.

Food is excellent and inventive. Delivery is very slow - longer than the 75 minutes maximum estimate. So if you are very hungry, suggest you order elsewhere. When the food comes it is excellent.

3.5 stars I’m amending my previous 1 star review done shortly after this branch of ‘Wichcraft opened. It had a terrible, terrible start, but it’s very much improved since then. Their bacon and egg sandwich is delicious, and their meatloaf sandwich is probably the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. Their salads and dressings work together beautifully. The sandwiches are not huge, as so many NY deli sandwiches are. They’re normal, human sized things. The prices are really high for the size, but not for the quality. I’d much rather spend a couple bucks more for great meatloaf sandwich than the alternative. Their potato salad pretty bad (the potatoes were undercooked the few times I ordered it). And their desserty things are just bland generic versions of whatever. I order from there once or twice a week.

Tom Colicchio knows what we want to eat. The attention to detail is excellent, the ingredients are fresh and the flavors bright. Delivery came within 15 minutes, carefully packaged with hot things hot and the beverage cold.

I never got to taste the food. After I ordered my SANDWICH and received the confirming e-mail, I saw where the waiting time was 35-55 minutes! The store is 3 blocks away! There's no way I'm waiting that long for a sandwich (so I canceled my order). Beware!

This sandwich is way overpriced for what I received. I had to take it apart to find the meat and when I did it was quite a disappointment. The peppers are way too overwhelming. I will never order from here again.

The price hurts a little but the onion fritatta sandwich with an iced tea was absolutely delicious! My mouth is watering thinking about it now!

Really surprised at the bad reviews. Everything I've ordered has been wonderful. I particularly enjoy the meatloaf sandwich and the pork with the red cabbage. They also have an outstanding chocolate cupcake.
