The just-opened New St. Clair Restaurant has taken an old concept and made it new again. St. Clair Restaurant, established in 1920, was a dated diner complete with dark wood paneling and stuffed swordfish in nets along the walls. Open for nearly eighty years, it finally closed its doors, only to be opened again as The New St. Clair Restaurant by its new co-owners, Louis Stogianos and Spiro Katehis.

The New St. Clair Restaurant is an updated diner, preserving the memory of the old restaurant while at the same time introducing a newly inspired menu and a modern interior. The extensive menu includes classic diner breakfast items, tasty sandwiches and wraps, a complete list of salads and healthier fare, burgers, Greek inspirations, grill items, and much, much more! Fountain sodas and milkshakes are also available, as is a kids’ menu for the little ones.

Delivery is superfast, like 10 minutes or less. The food is really good diner food, although you might want to ask for extra condiments, they're stingy on the syrup, jelly, etc.

Roast beef sandwich not as good as a deli sandwich.

If I could rate it a 3.5 I would! The portion was pretty large. The fries were a bit soggy and tasteless, but I'm assuming thats just because it was in a shut container and the steam made it soggy by the time it was delivered. It took about 20 minutes, give or take a few. Had the Gyro Platter. Side salad was huge and delicious, cheese was fresh, and tomatoes were juicy and ripe. Gyro itself was OKAY at best, lacked any lettuce / tomatoes, etc, but the taziki sauce was yummy. I'll be ordering from them again, and favorited the Gyro Platter for next time.
