Regional is an Italian restaurant specializing in the cuisines of every region in Italy. Every single one of the twenty regions that comprise the Italian territory is represented with one or more recipes on the menu. In addition, Regional features a wine list of about fifty Italian wines including red, white and sparkling, and a full bar which seats sixteen and offers a great small tapas menu.
Regional also offers a popular weekend brunch that includes everything from sandwiches to omelettes and burgers to pancakes. Head Chef Salvatore Zapparata hails from Sicily and has cooked in many hot spots in New York. Regional is now the latest in a long line of successes!

My very FIRST order at Regional was Today,(JAN 30, 2010) a PICK UP order. To be fair, this review will be MOSTLY based on the item I ordered,(POLLO ALLE MELANZANE(Sicilia). The SERVICE for PICK UP orders from 0-5 stars is: 1.5 STARS. The person who greated me at the door, was NOT interested in being the LEAST COURTEOUS. The order was to be ready in 25 mins. I got there 10 minutes late, and still had to wait another 7 mins. Now the most important, THE FOOD. Perhaps other items on the menu taste good, however, the "chicken", as the workers say, was NOTHING SPECIAL. AT ALL. 2Stars. , I don't eat much the PORTION was SMALL for me, 1 Star. Presentation: 0 Star, that dish looked like it was droped 100 times over. I don't believe I will be ordering from REGIONAL again...

Food was great--though it took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive--and I only live across the street(!).

Meal arrived over an hour late, and food wasn't nearly as good as in the restaurant. Don't know why they offer delivery. We've eaten at the restaurant, which is very good, but they clearly aren't set up to provide adequate service and food quality for delivery customers.
