Krunch Pizza Bar (www.krunchpizza.com) is an innovative, new restaurant that is putting a spin on the provisional classic—pizza pie. By offering up gourmet ‘squares’ instead of ‘slices’, the unique group of restaurateurs behind Krunch Pizza Baris ready to prove that pizza can be sexy, sophisticated and satisfying, while tasting like it is homemade.
In New York, there are two types of pizza: the goopy, thick crust pizza dripping with cheese—the type that is found on most street corners—or the ultra-thin style associated with brick ovens and high prices. Krunch is not selling either. In fact, Krunch’s allure is not just pizza. In addition to signature dishes, like the Krunch Zucca (a pizza with shaved zucchini and onions, garlic and Parmigiano) or the Pollo di Alba (with grilled chicken, caramelized onions, spinach and mozzarella), Krunch has an extensive list of salads, Krunch rolls (similar to calzones), sandwiches and gourmet pastas. It’s the perfect place for lunch, dinner and even corporate catering. Even better, Krunch is pairing its dishes with top-notch wines and beers, something that one wont find in other shops.
Thus, in a city where image is everything, and where pizza could serve as its own food group with late-night munchies account for more than half of sales, it is about time that someone took charge and revamped the New York City dining staple. Consequently, Krunch’s modern décor and its unforgettable “Hip to Eat Square!” slogan is sure to gratify even the most spoiled of taste buds.

Stale pizza!

OK, first time ordering from this place. Possibly the BEST BBQ Chicken Pizza I have ever had. VERY TASTY! The crust was crunchy (in a good way) and the ingredients seems to be of high quality. The actual chicken was very good and the sauce did not overpower the slice. I cannot recommend the BBQ pizza enough. 5 Stars for the BBQ Pizza. I also ordered a pasta dish with eggplant and ricotta cheese. It was decent...very average. I would not order it again. The only annoying thing is that this place did not follow my very simply request for hot pepper flakes and some grated parm on the side. Very easy request and for whatever reason they did not include it which is annoying considering those two ingredients can help out any pasta dish...and this pasta needed help! Notwithstanding, I say order the BBQ Pizza! It is awesome.

Didn't have what I ordered so offered to substitue a lower-priced option and add a drink to make up the cost difference. The drink didn't come with the order so I was over-charged.

After waiting for over an hour (although the wait time was listed as 15-30 minutes) the cold, hard pizza arrived. The toppings were wonderful, the mushrooms were excellent and the shrimp were perfectly cooked but the crust was as hard as a rock. Might have been more enjoyable hot, or even warm

Good food but took a HOUR when the time was 15-30 min!

Generally good pizza, but not always consistent in quality. The last order I got had such stale slices that the toppings didn't stay on top. Probably better to order earlier in the night, while they're still making fresh pies.

While the food is terrific the delivery stinks (on a non-rainy day I waited over an hour, called and they said, oh, it's just leaving -- I'm around the corner -- half hour later called again and they said, oh, it's just leaving; I said CANCEL THE ORDER! No "I'm sorry", no nuthin'!) I guess they've gotten too big for their britches -- already!

We had a group order that was supposed to get here at Noon, and as I currently type this it is 2:10 and the food is still not here. And when we called to ask where it was, 3 people got 3 totally different answers. So obviously, I will never order from here again.

Not worth the money! The pizza (Caprese) was delivered cold and the cheese was terrible. It was described as fresh mozzarella but tasted like the frozen processed kind. The chorizo is greasy and they barely put any toppings on. Think I got one piece of chorizo on my slice.
