Featuring a gourmet food market in the front, and an intimate, candlelit wine and cheese bar in the back, Kashkaval is sure to please. Enjoy their delicious fondue with a glass of wine, or create your own sample cheese plate from over 100 international cheeses. Be sure to visit their gourmet market of imported olives, cured meats, gourmet salads, soups and sandwiches. Kashkaval is also available for delivery, so that you may enjoy their scrumptious offerings at home.
Their specialty is fondue, and they have several options which are all very tasty. Our favorite is the Kashkaval fondue, which has tangy kashkaval cheese and olive oil. I'm also fond of the cheddar & ale fondue. They also serve Mediterranean tapas, such as hummus, tzatziki, babaganoush, and olive tempanade. Price is very fair, $10 per person for fondue. The service is sometimes slow, and there are very few tables, so the wait is sometimes long. But it's generally worth it, and you can make a reservation if you call a day in advance.
