Taking its “cue” from legendary Texas barbecue establishment Kreuz Market and its distinctive, dry-rub style, Hill Country’s brisket, sausage, ribs and other meats are smoked low and slow over Texas post oak. The barbecue is served in butcher paper, counter-style by the pound, with traditional trimmings.

Chicken was excellent. The ribs were very dried out and generally awful. The moist brisket was average. I'd recommend sticking with a whole chicken and going elsewhere for the other meat. The baked beans needed some spice/heat.

Placed an order on Sunday night. Two hours later the food still had not arrived. Called HC and spent 30min on hold. When delivery guy finally arrived we asked what had happened. He explained that he left over an hour ago but he had to stop a four other places first. So you are telling me my food has been out in the cold for an over an hour? Wrong answer. Food was cold & disgusting. Never again.

I was craving BBQ so when I logged onto Seamless I was thrilled to see a BBQ place that was rated high. The order came in less time than estimated (was at my door with in 30 min vs the 45-60 min estimated). I ordered 1 1/2 lbs spare ribs, mac & cheese, slaw, cornbread. I wished I ordered none of the above- with the exception of the cornbread. First when does BBQ not come with BBQ sauce? Oh thats because they sell the sauce on the side and you have to order it separately. Considering I spent $30.00 on this lunch could they not toss in a BBQ sauce? I ate one rib and stuck the rest in the fridge until I pick up some sauce from the store. The mac & cheese was just ok, the slaw was dry, but the cornbread with the honey butter was delish (they did throw in the butter for free when they charge extra for it). Long story short I will not be ordering from Hill Country again and suggest if you are craving good BBQ, STAY AWAY from Hill Country.

First the food was on time!! Second the food was great. Really nice ribs. Delecious Brisket. Great Chicken. I liked the beer braised beans, but the Mac'nCheese was just good....not great but good. I will definately reoder when I have 30 bucks to pay for lunch.

The meats are pretty good, but beware the sides. VERY inaccurate in assembling orders (all 3 times I have ordered, something was missing). Oh, and someone needs to change their soda offering, they are NOT 20oz bottles, they are EIGHT ounce bottles (they still cost $1.75 though). Terrible bait and switch.

Truly excellent Texas BBQ. Love the moist brisket, beef ribs are amazing. The jalepeno/cheese sausage is good. Texas caviar is great, but maybe slightly too sweet. Coleslaw is good, but not as good as RUB's mayo slaw. RUB might be better for pork, but Hill Country's beef is awesome.

Came very fast and hot. Brisket was incredible, and the side of mac and cheese was very good. Delicious!

Food was okay. Did not live up to the hype. Portions were very small. I ordered 3 quarter chickens and received two quarters and two legs. The legs barely had any meat on them. Plus, it took one hour and forty five minutes to get my order. I will never order from here again.

The food was good BUT the the portions were too small - making this one expensive meal. Will only go back if someone else is paying.

I love this place but they always and I mean ALWAYS forget something from my order. I've ordered from Hill Country 6 times now, (only once on SeamlessWeb) and every time I've ordered a soda or two and have yet to receive a soda. Other stuff has been forgotten also. Great Brisket, great sides and desserts just don't order a soda because odds are you won't get it.

Keeps getting better every time i eat there. The hot cheddar sausages are a must, and unless you've already had a triple bypass, go for the moist brisket and love every greasy bite.
