Gigino Trattoria opened its doors in August of 1994. The owners, Bob Giraldi and Phil Suarez, along with executive chef Luigi Celentano, have kept Gigino flourishing in the ever-changing Tribeca neighborhood. Chef Celentano creates both the menu and wine list, with daily specials of seasonally fresh seafood, game and vegetables. Gigino prides itself on the fact that all their dishes are prepared to order and almost all their pastas and breads are house-made. Fresh fish specials are featured on the “specials blackboard” daily, and it’s safe to say they also have the best pizza in Tribeca! Dining at Gigino Trattoria is a pleasure every time!

the delivery guy was really rude. however, someone was nice enough to call me and inquire about the issue to adress the problem. they also informed me that the Gigino Pizza is suppossed to be served cold....which is a delicious pizza.!

Chicken soup was cold & greasy. Portion size was very small particularly for pasta. Quite expensive for what was delivered. Can of soda was $2.25!!

I was warned via a follow up phone call but delivery indeed took too long. Food was not so good either. I got chicken with lemon sauce and it was greasy, and no better than any deli or pizza place that sells it for 1/2 the price.

Would have been 4 stars but the delivery was slow. By the time I got my pizza it was cold. Good cheesecake though.

The food was good, and it got here on the low end of the estimate (still 45 minutes). I only give it 4 because I wish it got here hot :). Otherwise, good times.

We absolutely love the pizza which is why we order from here a lot. But bad experience yesterday - it took a while to come, and when it did the delivery guy brought the wrong pizza. He didn't have ours with him when he came back to pick it up. **** A few days later **** Ended up canceling that order. Ordered again today. All was on time, and perfect. Thank you!

Hire more delivery personnel! my dinner took exactly 1:12. I understand a long wait for production at the restaurant, I have worked in food service for the past 15 years of my life, however, my food arrived cold, and the pasta had spilled out of the container. Will never buy from this restaurant again, due to their lack of care.

This place is wonderful. I highly recommend the Pasta Fagioli soup and the Pollo al Limone. The food always arrives super hot and always tastes fresh and delicious. Delivery time is typically closer to 30-45 minutes rather than the 15-30 minute time window they state, but it's well worth the wait!

This place is excellent--I've ordered from it a number of times and it's always good. The pizza is particularly good. The Gigino Pizza is a salad pizza, which is to say, basically flatbread with a salad on top (there's no sauce or cheese on the crust). It's healthy (for a pizza, at least) and tasty. The pasta is also quite good. The salads can be a bit dry--my one complaint. Also, note that the Margarita pizza isn't what's traditionally considered a Margarita pizza. It's actually just a normal cheese pizza.

Fair pizza - not bad. But took 1hr15mins - they said max would be an hour - but they're 3 blocks away... I could have crawled there and back faster...

I love Gigino's! They are always warm and welcoming when you dine-in. The food is always fresh and delicious! I do wish the portions were bigger, but the experience is always wonderful!
