People from all over the city are drawn to Cucina di Pesce in the East Village. Their flavors are absolutely contemporary and it’s one of the best places in the city to get good Italian food on a budget. The pasta, from the comically enormous spinach ravioli to the succulent sun-dried tomato fusilli, will seduce even the most strident Atkins followers. And the seafood, such as their scallops, scampi, and salmon are mouthwateringly fresh. The only drawback to Cucina is that everyone seems to know how good it is!

Very small servings for the price. Pasta was great but the sauce was very bland.

The order was over 20 minutes late (it was a rainy night, but the time frame was 15-20 minutes for delivery!). The chicken parm was lukewarm and the cheese was already hard. I will not be ordering from here again.

Generally delicious. Usually comes with several warm slices of fresh bread. Shrimp scampi was great, very succulent. Chicken parmigiana was pretty good. Portions are good. Baked clams are tasty -- but often have a bit of large, hard grit that you have to spit out.

Lasagna and pasta we ordered were both very greasy and so much garlic in everything that it was impossible to taste anything else.

This place is a gem. All pasta is homemade and is absolutely delectable. The mushroom linguini was amazing! Definetely will order again and again.
