Not happy at all about the food. Way to greasy and the grease tasted and smelled old. Will not be ordering from them again

Chiam is reliable. The food is good, but unexciting. Sometimes the delivery is slow, but it always arrives hot. They also send chop sticks, paper plates and untensils.

Normally I don't rate restaurants, but I had to rate this one. Kung pao chicken has chicken, peanuts, and scallions in it. No peppers, no water chestnuts, like the dish that was delivered. And it was tasteless. The scallion pancakes were greasy and equally tasteless.

I would never have guessed that I'd get such terrific Chinese food from a restaurant called "Chiam" -- what a pleasant surprise. As authentic Chinese as you can get in midtown -- and reasonably priced.

Sesame Chicken was excellent; beef with vegetables and spring rolls were mediocre. Will order again.

By far, the best Chinese Food in New York City! I have been eating at Chiam's since 1998, so I know what I am talking about.
