One word describes this place's food and delivery service - inconsistent. At times, they are great. Other times, not so good...

To say their food is inconsistent is an understatement. At times it is good but usually it is over cooked and over salted.. The maduros are often not ripe at all and half raw. However on the off chance they're ripe they are very good. The pork dishes tend to be among the better choices. The fish can be fishy and the shrimp overcooked, though the flavorful sauces hide it well. The Dominican Fried Chicken was mostly bones and what little meat there was had totally dried out. Oddly enough it was not greasy. The tres leches cake is amazing but the slice is so small I called them after I got my delivery to make sure it wasn't a piece someone else had half eaten! If you are a gambler I'd give them a go, you may get a good day.....

The chicken empanadas are the best thing in the world. Fries are greasy and soggy, unfortunately. There's enough good here that I'm going to miss it as I move out of the delivery area.

Pretty solid overall, I don't think anything is so great, but it's all good - wish Pio Pio delivered further uptown though.

The chicken and rice with black beans and avocado salad is absolutely AMAZING. Their hot sauce is so unique and craveable. Ask for garlic sauce too. The food is super delicious.

I ordered the steak sandwich and it was absolutely disgusting. The meat was tough and fatty, the onions were almost rotten, the bread used was flat and tasteless, and the sauce was just indescribably awful. I would assume that the other dishes at this restaurant are around the same caliber. Save your money. Don't eat here.

Best black beans north of Brazil! I had the roast pork, tostones and the tres leches. All very good. Delivery was quick and order was correct.
