Wall Street Burger Shoppe is a new burger joint in the old Wall Street district. Located in a four-story landmarked building, Burger Shoppe is really two restaurants in one. The ground floor offers quick-service burgers (made from daily ground Hereford beef from Ottomanelli & Sons on Bleecker Street), and is modeled after an old burger diner, complete with a formica counter and vintage menu board signs. Upstairs is the Bar Room, reminiscent of old New York saloons and anchored by a century-old bar the owners plucked from a tavern in Chicago. A more refined bar menu kicks in after four p.m., which features house chopped chicken livers with saltines, short rib pudding on toast and thick, char-grilled steaks. Local microbrews are on tap (served in frosty mugs) and a heady wine list complements the meaty fare.
No matter what your preference, Burger Shoppe can satisfy any and all of your needs.
Shoppe Burger—Char-grilled beef burger with two slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato and special Shoppe sauce
Mushroom Burger (Vegetarian)—Two crispy Portobello mushroom caps with two slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato and special Shoppe sauce
Bar Room Burger—Char-grilled beef burger topped with gruyere, braised pork belly, sautéed mushrooms and onions; served with fries
Crispy Shrimp—Crispy patty of gulf shrimp breaded in Japanese panko with cheese, lettuce, tomato and special Shoppe sauce
Short Rib 'Pudding'—Red wine-braised short ribs served with country bread and pickles
House Chopped Chicken Livers—Served with saltines, raw onion and cracked pepper
Best Burgers in New York (maybe anywhere). They ARE on the small side, but inexpensive enough to buy two!

Burgers were tiny, crushed, and undercooked. Delivery took over an hour even though the estimate was 15 to 30 mins. Their excuse was that there was only one delivery guy.

Teeny tiny burgers the size of a dollar bill - for twice as much money as any other burger shop in the area. In addition, our paltry kid sized servings arrived late and cold even though we live only a few minutes away. We called to complain and they said they said they would send new food. It never showed up - though judging from the surly girl who answered the phone that shouldn't have been a surprise. Thankfully seamless web handled the situation for us. We don't recommend ordering from here.

Food is good but the delivery is excrutiatingly slow. You need to at least double, if not triple, the estimated delivery time to come close to when the food will actually arrive.

i usually never take the time out to write a review and in no way am i cheap, however after ordering from the "burger shoppe" I feel compelled to complain. There was no mention on the menu that the burgers were "mini" or sliders or whatever they call a one ounce burgers these days. I was expecting a normal sized burger and sandwhich. $25 later and a bite sized burger that you can finish in one bite I feel ripped off. The burger and sandwhich tasted good, i'll give them that but come on. it was the size of a meatball. If i knew or if it was advertised fairly I would have ordered accordingly or from somewhere else. At least put the size on the menu, like normal reputable places do. Now, I'm hungry and forced to order from somewhere else.

Burger's are spectacular. Chicken sandwich is amazing. I've been going and ordering from here since they opened and they've never let me down. I'm a huge fan.

These burgers are our favorite in the neighborhood....I do wish that they would deliver them in a box rather than foil as they arrive smooshed....but tasty. The fries and onion rings are also to die for---as are the malt shakes.

This is one of my favorite places. Their burgers are to die for, and everything else I've tried has always been great. I usually stop in rather than order takeout, but the one or two times I've ordered takeout it has been very good.

Food was over an hour late. ICE cold, and called TWICE to get them to actually send the food. I've never left a review, but this was the worst I've ever had.

Fantastic burger and fries - one of the tastiest I've had in a long time. The only drawback is that the burgers are kind of small, and I could have eaten two of them. I will eat here again, guaranteed.

Something lower manhattan has needed forever. Great quality on delivery, equally great eating there. The owner is terrific and the people working there are extremely nice and friendly. We eat there at least once a week since opening and have never been disappointed. The shoppe burgers are delicious and the bar burger (served both upstairs and via delivery) is the best burger i have ever had. I can't say enough about having Burger Shoppe as a neighbor except it's killing my waistline.
