Very poor service. Promised delivery is 45 to 55 min but after almost2 hours it was still not delivered and I decided to cancel the order. When I called the restaurant, I was assured that the food would be delivered in 10 mins. After 30 minutes, still not delivered and the restaurant stopped answering their phone. Very unprofessional.

Very slow delivery. Only one set of utensils / plates. Curry is more sauce than meat or vegetables.

Perfect for splitting an entree with garlic naan

Based on the reviews for this place, I had much higher expectations. Portions were terribly small, food arrived cold (and late), and prices were not reasonable. For $40, I would expect that most NYC restaurants could adequately feed two people with some leftovers, which was not the case. Much better values for Indian restaurants elsewhere. Will not order from here again.

1+ hour to deliver!

Small porions, felt like left-overs. Goat curry looked like just few meatless bones floating in the sauce. Really overpriced. Took over an hour to deliver.

The food was excellent, but it took them about an hour and a half to show up. I called after an hour and was told they'd be here in 5 minutes. Apparently their watches are a bit slower than mine....

Banana Leaf is excellent!!!! Very flavorful classic Indian food, but without the oil and rich butter that most restaurants gratuitiously add

Dad to say, the quality of Banana Leaf has gone down, WAY down. Although the service is fast and the delivery people courteous, our last two orders were awful. Butter chicken, once a creamy, silky yummy delight is now still serviceable tandoori chicken breast, but in a greasy, separated sauce that is more like a bad tikka masala. The keema samoas were reconstituted from packaged frozen rather than the fresh tasty appetizers they used to be. To add insult to injury, they were overfried almost to the point of burnt. Sad, sad. I didn't write this review until we chalked one order up to a one off miss, but tonight's delivery confirms it.

Delivery was within the expected time period. Food was good, but not as tasty as it could have been.
