This authentic Cuban Restaurant is proudly operated by the Luna family, Manuela, Sofia, and Mila together with Eduardo Morgado. The Lunas came from Lima Peru many years ago and Manuela married Eduardo who is a master chef born and trained in Cuba. Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine has been bringing delicious authentic Cuban food to Manhattan since 1997.

Glad I tried it out. Absolutely delicious! Cuban sandwich with nice big chunks of roast pork. Perfectly toasted bread, melted cheese, etc. Also got an empanada which isn't some cheap who-knows-what-the-filling-is, it had nicely flavored shredded chicken in it. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
