I have been ordering from Aki Sushi for over a year. Their sushi is excellent and always fresh (delivered or in person). Their lobster roll is amazing, albeit expensive. Great locale to eat at in person as well. High quality 100% of the time.

one word-TERRIFIC! Deliver fast and so so fresh. I ordered last minute before they closed. Food arrived less than 15 minutes later. I thought that's a bad sign I was SO wrong, Food was boiling hot and fresh. Sushi was fresh as well. WOW! very nice surprise and will def order again. THANKS!!

Ok. I finally gave in and tried Aki Sushi. Why? Because it had a nice 20% off and at least some people like it. Now I regret my decision to try Aki Sushi. Aki Sushi is not amazing or even good sushi; Aki Sushi is below average sushi. To give you a better idea of why I think it's below average sushi, let me describe the quality of the fish I got. I ordered the sashimi dinner and every piece of fish I got looked as though it had either been cut by a sushi apprentice on training wheels or I got the scrap ends of the fish. Whatever the case may be, fish should not look like scraps. But enough with the appearance, what about the taste? The fish wasn't rotten, but it was close to turning. As for the rice, it was dry and barely edible. I've had better rice from my rice cooker four days after I've cooked it! You might be asking yourself, then why did you give Aki Sushi two stars? Why not one star? Well... I guess it's because I didn't get sick (that should be worth something right? Well... maybe not), and the order came in under 15 minutes. Save your money and get your sushi elsewhere.

15-30 minute estimate took an hour on lunch hour with good weather. Sushi from bento box was drenched in teriyaki in additional to not being terribly good or fresh. Rice was overcooked. Will not order again.

the food is not worth the "service". no point in putting a special delivery instruction for the delivery to have ID - that was totally disregarded. they also did not give me a credit card receipt. will not be ordering from here again.

Not good. We ordered a few sushi rolls. The fish the texture of ground fish, mixed with mayo. It was a huge disappointment. If you're looking for a new sushi place, this isn't it. I only gave it one star because Seamless Web requires raters to select at least one star. If could have, I'd have given it zero stars.

It took double the stated amount of time to deliver. The food was ok. Spicy tuna was pretty good, but I had 3 pieces of california roll that I had to literally dig through the huge chunks of avacado to find the tiny bits of crab. Won't be ordering again.

Food arrived after 35 minutes. Everything was as expected, no little tray for soy sauce, but I emptied the little tray with ginger and we were off. Sushi fresh and rolls good. Would order again.

I ordered the Chicken Katsu and Spicy Tuna Roll. The roll was good but the Chicken Katsu was like eating beef jerky. Tough as a brick and thin as paper.

Ordering from Aki was the worst experience I have had on seamlessweb. This is a horrible restaurant, with horrible customer service and nobody should order from them. There are so many better sushi places in NYC with better service. They say you get a free california roll with a $30 purchase, but you can not use the discount. I then called to change my order and they made me call seamlessweb customer service. They cared more about a $5 sushi roll than keeping me as a customer!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE... DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!

Very small rolls for the price. Spicy tuna was surprisingly flavorless. Really odd gummy textured wasabi dumblings. Stir Fried vegetable entree was decent, vegetables slightly overcooked.

The sushi here was disgusting. I had avocado sushi and it was brown instead of green. The sushi was warm and looked as if it had been sitting out for hours. I will never eat here again.

Great restuarant, great food. The people who pick up the phone even speak english, which is rare. Even more rare, they are patient with taking ur order! The food is also excellent; I go out of my way to order from here even though I have a few places much closer. ---One last thing, though this is regarding Seamless Web more than the restaurant, it can sometimes be hard to place an order where you want more than one of the same exact thing, specifically within the lunch specials section. What I mean is, you get a bargain on 2 or 3 rolls btwn 11-3pm, and due to the way Seamless Web has it set up, there is nowhere to click to request the same thing twice. Instead, after you click California (or whatever) roll once, you can't place the order because it keeps asking you to select one more item...anyway, that is the only thing. Ordering from here, and on Seamless Web, is great.

Do not order from this place unless you want to waste your money. The are very cheap on the amount of sushi that they give you. My toro roll was all cucumber and the tiniest piece of fish on top. If you order from Haru they will give you large pieces of fish.. The sushi from Aki wasn't even that good.

I ordered an amaebi (sweet shrimp) sushi ala carte and received a regular-sized (rock?) shrimp atop a huge amount of rice. Not what I ordered. My donkatsu was cold and tough, likewise for the salmon teriyaki. I didn't get the free california roll and when I called to ask why, they told me that I already had a discount from seamless and, with that discount, my total came to $29.96 minus the $3.50 tip I regretfully paid. I wouldn't eat there again anyway.

This was easily the WORST take-out sushi I have ever had. The fish was clearly not fresh (smelled rancid), and as I was eating one of the rolls we ordered, I bit down and almost swallowed a STAPLE. Yes, inside the philadelphia roll was a whole METAL STAPLE. When I called them to complain, they denied it and were entirely rude and uncooperative. (I called Seamless web customer service and they immediately voided the transaction and I did recieve my credit from them - they handled the situation perfectly.)
